About Yanyou

Legal places and good company — never tobacco.

Yanyou is an app for smokers 20+ in Taiwan: find legal smoking areas and meet someone to talk to, anonymously.

Principles

Legal places only

Every spot shows its source: Official, Register, OpenStreetMap or Unverified.

Anonymous and safe

No profiles until you both add each other; contact details masked; report or block anyone.

No push to smoke

No tobacco sales or promotion, and nothing rewards smoking more. Smoking harms your health.

Smoking-area data

314 public smoking areas · 120 smoking rooms inside venues (venue rules apply). Sources: Taipei City Department of Health — Designated Smoking Areas (262), Taichung City Public Health Bureau — smoking area register (15), OpenStreetMap contributors (37). Browse by city

Meet Mist

A spirit of night haze: a bit of a smart mouth, soft at heart. Keeps you company and shows the way; nothing to do with cigarettes.

Age limit

Adults 20+ only. Under-20s can't sign up.
